No, they do not require a lot of daily exercise making them perfect for apartments and homes. They need about 15-30 minutes of exercise daily. Please keep in mind, when the temperatures are too hot, not to let them overheat.

Like any other dog, French Bulldogs do require some attention. Bath them once a week with a moisturizing shampoo, brush daily, provide weekly ear and face fold cleanings along with frequent nail trimmings is about all they require! These dogs are fairly low maintenance.

Yes! French Bulldogs are smart, affectionate, friendly, caring, loving, and happy dogs. Like any dog, do not leave children unattended with them. Frenchies were originally bred to be companion dogs and they are at their happiest with you!

Like all dogs, Frenchies can swim. However, never leave them unattended when around water. Due to their shape, heavy in the chest and face and thinner in the hind area, French Bulldogs tend to sink. Always keep a life jacket on them when around water and remember to supervise!

Frenchies average life span is 11 to 14 years. Average weight is 16 to 28 pounds and stand 11 to 12 inches tall at the shoulder. (Please note, these are averages, all dogs are different.)
